OUR MISSION
The Rob Dollar Foundation exists to save the lives of cyclists.
Through education, advocacy, and community-driven initiatives, we are working to make every road safer for every rider.
Every mile we ride honors Rob—and every step forward helps prevent another loss.
OUR STORY
The Rob Dollar Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created by family and friends after the tragic loss of Rob Dollar on October 29, 2017.
While out on a Sunday ride, Rob was hit and killed by a motorist. In the wake of that loss, those closest to him chose to turn grief into action—building something that could protect others and carry his legacy forward.
This foundation was more than a response—it was a dream Rob had shared with his father and close friends. Creating it became a way to honor that vision and support the cycling community he loved so deeply.
Now in our 9th year, the Rob Dollar Foundation continues its mission to save the lives of cyclists through education, advocacy, and community action.
Every mile we ride is in memory of Rob—
and in honor of every life that should never be lost to unsafe streets.
